“Education is the most powerful weapon which you can use to change the world.” -Nelson Mandela

I am thrilled to announce that my article, "Professional Development for Tutors: Staying Up-to-Date with the Latest Research and Best Practices," has been published in the Spring 2024 issue of the National Tutoring Association (NTA) publication. It is an incredible honor to have my work recognized by such a prestigious organization, and I am grateful for the opportunity to share my insights with fellow tutors and educators.

The article explores the importance of professional development for tutors and highlights various strategies for staying current with the latest research findings and best practices in the field. I discuss the benefits of staying informed about recent studies in education and learning sciences, as well as the value of learning about evidence-based tutoring strategies. The article also emphasizes the importance of joining professional organizations, such as the NTA, and attending conferences and workshops to enhance one's skills and knowledge.

I am particularly excited to share that my article was featured on the cover of the Spring 2024 NTA publication. This recognition is a testament to the hard work and dedication I have put into my research and writing, and I am deeply grateful for the support and encouragement I have received from my colleagues and the tutoring community.

The National Tutoring Association has been a valuable resource for me throughout my career, providing opportunities for professional growth, networking, and collaboration. I have benefited greatly from the NTA's certification program and annual conferences, which have helped me to stay at the forefront of the tutoring field and to connect with like-minded professionals from around the world.

I encourage all tutors and educators to read the Spring 2024 issue of the NTA publication, which features a wealth of informative and inspiring articles on a range of topics related to tutoring and academic support. I also invite you to join the NTA and to take advantage of the many professional development opportunities that the organization offers.

Thank you to the National Tutoring Association for this incredible honor and for the ongoing support and dedication to the tutoring community. I look forward to continuing to contribute to the field and to working alongside my fellow tutors and educators to promote student success.
